The Silicon Valley has long been known as the birthplace of microelectronics and the semiconductor industry. During that period of time, there were not only the chip makers, but semiconductor equipment manufacturers, printed circuit board companies, contract manufacturers, and all make and manner of machine shops and other supporting businesses to support the industry.
While the bulk of integrated circuits are now built elsewhere, the Silicon Valley is STILL the home of innovation of new chips, devices and both semiconductor and medical device equipment. As such, there is still a need in the marketplace for contracting firms capable of producing these types of projects.
VDC has continuously provided contracting services to many different companies involved in the creation and manufacture of the new technological devices that we all enjoy – from Clean Rooms, Biomedical Labs, Environmental chambers and plating shops – we have done virtually “one of everything”.
